Yizhe Zhang is a researcher in medical and biological image analysis, with a focus on machine learning for image segmentation, efficient learning, and reliable evaluation. His work sits at the intersection of algorithm development and clinical translation, with an emphasis on building practical and trustworthy AI methods for real-world healthcare. He is interested in data-efficient training, robust model assessment, and human–AI collaboration to support deployment in clinical settings.
